Between the months of August and September, we were appointed as the main contractor for Campus Living Village at 9 sites across the UK. With only 3 weeks’ notice, we implemented a scope of works which was agreeable to both the clients’ budget and timescales around students leaving for the summer terms and re-arriving on site for the start of the new term.
With over 45 workdays required to complete the works over the various sites, some sites including up to 9 blocks to clean, we used a variety of methods, including rope and MEWP access, pole fed and traditional, with our teams working from 5am in the morning until dusk in the evening, to ensure we completed all the works within the agreed time frame and budget.
These works were followed by a formal review process with the client, where we were scored on all aspects of the job, and were delighted to receive a score of 99%. This was achieved through effective planning and clear communication between our operational teams and our client, and a lots of hard work from our teams of field operatives.”
